About Marc Blackwell

Whether it’s a window on Madison Avenue or a soiree at a posh Los Angeles venue, designer Marc Blackwell has always brought his own unique sensibility to everything he touches. Since his arrival in New York in 1990, he has styled and designed for major companies like Bally of Switzerland, Baccarrat, Daum Crystal, Omega Inc., Casafina and Vietri. After years of designing for others-both in product and space categories, Marc felt the need to put his name on something.

Thus Marc Blackwell New York was born in 1998. The clean styling and unexpected textures of his tabletop and home accessories can be found on the pages of publications like Oprah, Elle Décor, Food and Wine, House Beautiful and Bride’s Magazine. And celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Cindy Crawford, and Lucy Arnez have been seen sipping or dinning from some of his fabulous wares. Found in high-end home and tabletop stores throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe, Marc Blackwell’s creations prove his status as a new force in American design.
